The Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI) over the last seven years has with great consistency ranked several items relating to student finances as not meeting the expectations of the student population surveyed. In order to address this situation a clearer understanding of the reasons for this discrepancy needs to be achieved. A survey was created stating the question as it appears on the SSI and a hypothetical reason for dissatisfaction was stated. The survey was distributed by e-mail to 30 staff and faculty members and 50 students currently enrolled in the traditional student program at Northwest University. Study results indicate that there are specific steps that could be taken to improve student satisfaction.en
