Destiny Kennedy speaks on Luke 7:18-28 and John 1:19-35 in chapel. John the Baptist, was a man with an incredible prophetic ministry preparing the way for Jesus. What can we learn from John's actions about heralding Christ to the world and to his disciples? What do we have to learn from him about what the life of a disciple might look like? As Christians, we will all encounter people with expectations of Jesus. It is our job as faithful believers to use these opportunities to point people in the right direction. Not only that, we must depend on Jesus and our community too point us in the right direction in times of trouble, when we ourselves are unsure of our expectations. --Description from NU Podcast
