Bradley Kerswell speaks on seeing clearly and judging well from Matthew 7.1-5. Jesus teaches His followers to not judge. The issue Jesus seems to have with judgement is hypocrisy. The tendency for people is to not see their own faults clearly all while pointing out the faults in others. Jesus instead calls His followers to take the position of humility, getting help to remove issues in their own life so that they can better help their brothers and sisters. This is a whole new way to be human. -- Description from NU Podcasten
Being a follower of Jesus means becoming like Jesus and doing what He did, and this requires teaching. So, one day Jesus sat down on a mountain side, opened His mouth, and taught His followers what it means to be a part of God's people. Jesus' sermon on that mount taught more than bad behaviors that need change but a radical, new way of living, a new way to be human. -- Description from NU Podcasten
