Description
Dr. David Thomas speaks on the Holy Spirit in chapel. Jesus said that it was better for Him to leave so that we might receive the Holy Spirit. But do we actually know this Spirit who dwells in us? This series focuses on establishing and deepening our personal relationship with the Holy Spirit and learning how to respond to Him. The series flows as follows: the authority of the Spirit-inspired Scriptures, how to hear and respond to the Scriptures with the Spirit, the Holy Spirit and prayer, spiritual warfare, and the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Again, we are hoping emphasize a personal relationship and responsiveness to the Holy Spirit, rather than focusing on Him as a “power” or a “force”.
